Journey information
Stretching 50 miles, the North Staffordshire Line runs from Derby to Crewe, with a total journey time of 1 hour and 18 minutes.
The North Staffordshire Community Rail Partnership has commissioned this short film to raise awareness of the hidden gems that can be discovered at or near the stations along the route between Derby and Crewe. As well as encouraging visitors to use the train to visit these destinations, it will bring much needed income into the local visitor economy.

Derby Cathedral
Home to one of the highest church towers in the country.
Crewe Station
Built in 1837, this historically significant building is Grade II listed.

The aim of the Community Rail Partnership (CRP) is to promote and develop the North Staffordshire Line. It involves local people, schools, businesses and local councils in innovative projects to improve the route for passengers and develop station improvement projects.
